The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) successfully carried out a hydrogen bomb test, its central TV reported.
North Korea stressed that this test “confirms the highest level of scientific development” in the country, informed Rossiyskaya Gazeta daily of Russia.
Even though the intensity of this hydrogen bomb test is not specified, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 to 5.1 was recorded in the country in the morning.
According to a variety of sources, the cause of this seismic event was “artificial,” reported Echo of Moscow Russian radio station.
