The 16th EU-Armenia Cooperation Council kicked off in Brussels. Armenia FM Edward Nalbandian takes part in the session, Armenia MFA spokesman Tigran Balayan wrote the aforementioned on his Twitter page.

Cooperation of Armenia with EU in the framework of the Eastern Partnership and European Neighborhood Policy, new grounds of relations between Armenia and EU, facilitation of visa regime, as well as economic and trade cooperation are on the agenda of the session.

The settlement of the Karabakh conflict, regional issues, freedom of press, human rights and issues related to the rule of law will also be discussed.
