YEREVAN. - Leader of Armenia’s opposition “Heritage”party, Raffi Hovannisian, delivered a speech at the European People’s Party (EPP) Thursday.

In his speech, Hovannisian referred to the Armenian rigged referendum, issue of the political prisoners, anti-nationalist emergency situation in the country and legitimate sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR, Artsakh). He also touched on the continuous aggression of Azerbaijan against Artsakh, Armenia and its own citizens, the conflict of interests of certain European officials, as well as the necessity to apply single  European standards to the aforementioned issues.
