Russian FM Sergey Lavrov had a working breakfast with the ambassadors of CIS member-states today, during which issues on integration, united struggle against terrorism, as well as the situation in Syria were discussed, the Russian MFA reports.
The FM underscored the importance of the integration work in the CIS format, as well as the necessity of the adaptation of the CIS to the realias of the modern world, the MFA message says.
Lavrov also noted that “during 25 years of its existence, the CIS has gained a reputation of an authoritative international organization able to effectively resolve a wide scope of tasks related to interstate interaction.”
The Minister also “presented the Russian priorities in solving burning problems, including the situation in Syria and struggle against international terrorism,” RIA Novosti reports.
