YEREVAN. – The World Armenian Congress (WAC), Union of Armenians of Russia (UAR), and Ministry of Diaspora of Armenia held a consultation on Saturday. 

The event was devoted to the holding of the next joint pan-Armenian awards ceremony for scientific, academic, and creative work.

The consultation brought together Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan, WAC President and UAR Chairman Ara Abrahamyan, and heads and representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and of creative associations.

As a result, it was decided that the 2016 Pan-Armenian Awards Ceremony will be held under the theme, “National Unity: A Pledge of Collective Strength and Power,” and dedicated to the 25th anniversaries of independence of the Republic of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
