YEREVAN. – Regular meeting of the Armenian-Greek Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial and Technological Cooperation was convened on Thursday and Friday in Athens, the capital city of Greece. 

The participating delegation from Armenia was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that several sectoral domains of bilateral trade and economic cooperation were on the agenda of the talk.

In addition, the parties reflected on the prospects for the development of partnership between Armenia and Greece along the lines of Black Sea Economic Cooperation, development support, and the European Neighbourhood Policy.

At the news conference after the meeting, the parties underscored the need to implement the agreements that were reached.

While in Athens, Deputy FM Nazarian also met separately with Greek Minister for Foreign Affairs Nikolaos Kotzias, and his deputy on economic cooperation affairs, Dimitris Mardas.
