YEREVAN. – Germany is our country’s number one trading partner among the European Union (EU) countries. During the last five to six years, the turnover ranged between $350 million and $450 million, which is not a bad indicator. 

The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, noted the aforesaid at Wednesday’s talk devoted to Armenian-German relations.

Armenia’s Ambassador to Germany, Ashot Smbatyan, presented a respective report to Sargsyan, the Presidential Press Office informed.

At the end of the consultation, the President gave corresponding instructions to those in attendance and to the relevant departments, and regarding the matters, key issues, and plans that were discussed at this meeting.
