YEREVAN. – The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states’ parliamentary delegations to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE PA) on Friday convened a working meeting in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. 

The event brought together CSTO member countries’ representatives from Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Serbia.

Summing up the OSCE PA Armenian delegation’s activities and accomplishments in the OSCE PA winter session, head of delegation Artashes Geghamyan underscored cooperation and the joining of forces between the delegations of the CSTO member states.

CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha, for his part, reflected on the coordination of the foreign policies of the CSTO member countries. Also, Bordyuzha noted that cooperation between the CSTO member states needs to be raised to a higher level.

At the end of the talk, representatives of the delegations of the  CSTO member countries reflected on the coordinated activities by, and the mechanisms for developing common approaches among, the CSTO delegations.
