STEPANAKERT. – At the invitation of Alternative for Germany party, spokesperson of the Free Motherland Party of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh), Vahram Poghosyan, carried out election observation mission in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, on March 13.

Elections were also held in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saxony Anhalt federal lands.

The Free Motherland Party press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, also during the visit, Poghosyan was received by the community member of Stuttgart City Hall, member of the Baden-Württemberg State Parliament and Board member of Alternative for Germany party, Heinrich Fiechtner.

Poghosyan thanked for the invitation and warm reception, and added that he would be happy to have new meetings within the framework of political processes.

To note, this is the first time that a representative from Artsakh carries out election observation mission in European elections.

Alternative for Germany party recorded high results during the voting held in three lands of Germany, and entered the states’ parliaments.

Moreover, sociological surveys show that the party’s influence is continually growing.
