Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades gave an official dinner on Tuesday evening, in honor of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, who is in Cyprus on an official visit.
At the event, both presidents also made reciprocal toasts.
They reflected on the avenues for making relations between the Armenian and Cypriot peoples grow deeper, the bilateral commitments to strengthen interstate relations, and from this perspective, the expectations from the Armenian President’s visit to Cyprus.
In his toast, President Sargsyan noted that Armenia and Cyprus are conducting exemplary cooperation within European formats.
President Anastasiades likewise spoke about the long-standing friendship between the two peoples, and the Cypriot Armenian community which, in his conviction, makes this friendship firmer.
