Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev had a telephonic conversation and conferred on the Karabakh conflict, informed the Kremlin press service.
The presidents exchanged views on the present-day situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, and seeking avenues for a pacific settlement of this conflict.
“Putin informed about the mediation steps undertaken by the Russian side, and whose objective is to contribute to resolving the situation,” the respective statement reads.
