YEREVAN. – In Poland, vice president Eduard Sharmazanov of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia held working meetings with chairperson David Usupashvili of the Parliament of Georgia, and deputy speaker Gundars Daudze of the Saeima (parliament) of Latvia.
The NA of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Sharmazanov and his colleagues discussed cooperation.
Also, the Armenian parliament deputy chairman presented his Georgian and Latvian colleagues the details and consequences of the military aggression which Azerbaijan unleashed against Nagorno-Karabakh in early April, and Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev regime’s accountability in these hostilities.
In addition, Sharmazanov thanked the deputy speaker of the Latvian Saeima for MP Sergejs Potapkins’ recent visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh), as a result of which, Potapkins made targeted and impartial assessments regarding the criminal regime in Azerbaijan.
The interlocutors also agreed to develop collaboration, and the joint work within international parliamentary platforms.
In Poland, the Eduard Sharmazanov-led Armenian NA delegation attended official events devoted to the 1050 years of Christianity in Poland.
