The delegation headed by Chief of General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Yuri Khachaturov, took part in the meeting at the level of chiefs of general staffs of NATO’s Military Committee (MC) at the Alliance’s headquarters in Brussels.

During the meeting two sessions took place in the format of Decisive Support mission in Afghanistan, as well as Cooperation Platform initiative.   

The session held in Decisive Support format was devoted to the exchange of opinions on the military obligations of the coalition countries in Afghanistan and agreement on planning principles.

The Cooperation Platform session format addressed issues related to the development of operative interaction between NATO and partner countries, as well as enhancement of international stability.
