The Egypt-air plane disappeared from radars and fell into the Mediterranean Sea, reported Mayadin channel on Twitter, citing sources of the airline company. This information is not officially confirmed. It is reported that the plane flying from Paris to Cairo disappeared from radars in 20 minutes after entering the Greek airspace. The airline company confirmed that there were 56 passengers and 10 crew members on board . Among the passengers there were 3 children . Their fate is still unknown. The plane took off from Charles de Gaulle airport.
After the EgyptAir had received signals about the incident, it formed a special group, which included representatives of all aviation services, to follow the situation . The Egyptian and the Greek military pilots undertook the responsibility of searching for the plane. Egypt's civil aviation minister Sheriff Fatkhi interrupted his visit to Saudi Arabia and returned to his homeland due to the incident.
The aircraft А-320 that disappeared this morning was produced in 2003; it had an experienced crew. The captain was in the air for 6275 hours , including 2101 hours on that plane . His assistant had 2766 hours of flight experience.
