The Kazakh police officers on May 20 in the morning disclosed pieces of armature and kerosene bottles concealed in the immediate vicinity of the Republic Square in Almaty , reported the CTC. Law enforcement agencies in the morning surrounded the part of Baiseitov Street , which is adjacent to the square.

"We have learned that the police allegedly took out some bottles with unknown liquid. It is possible that they were filled with a pyrotechnic mixture. At 11:00 we found out from Bostandik district administration of internal affairs that the operative employees indeed have found bottles. They were filled with kerosene. Other details will come soon, " writes the channel's website.

When the territory was surrounded with the police, a number of experts, including deminers, were working there. There were  noticed fire extinguishing trucks as well, reports Azattik radio.

 At the moment the occupation is removed. Sputnik- Kazakhstan reports that many of the activists call on people to gather at the square and  express their protest on changes to the Land Code. In Almaty, Astana, and other cities, the administration rejected the applications of the initiative groups for holding a rally .
