The Egyptian authorities have found the first fragment of a body from the missing Airbus A320 airliner of the EgyptAir company.
In addition, Greek Defense Minister Panos Kammenos stated that a part of a seat has been found, RIA Novosti reported.
The armed forces of Egypt began collecting fragments of the passenger A320 jet of the EgyptAir company which collapsed in the Mediterranean Sea yesterday and continue to search the surrounding area, official representative of the Armed Forces of Egypt announced today.
The debris field is located in the sea, 290 km to the North from the Egyptian Alexandria, the personal belongings of passengers have been found. The representatives of Greece and Egypt also take part in the search operation, Vedomosti reported quoting Bloomberg."
Greek Defense Ministry has also officially confirmed the detection of the wreckage - they are located less than in 10 km to the South from a point of loss of radar contact with the liner. Bloomberg noted that the depth of the sea reaches 3000 m on the accident site.
