The international community should definitely take every action to find compromise on stopping the military actions in Nagorno-Karabakh, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Poland, Radosław Domagalski-Łabędzki, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

In his words, holding direct talks is the only possible way to solve the Karabakh conflict. “It’s very important for both sides to be disposed to solving the problem as soon as possible. The role of the international community is especially important here. Thus, Poland will support any initiative towards the peaceful settlement of the conflict,” Radosław Domagalski-Łabędzki said.

Responding to the question whether he thinks that more targeted statements are needed to prevent the provocative actions from the Azerbaijani side and disallow violation of ceasefire regime established in 1994, the Deputy Minister stressed:  “I understand that the situation has a historical background, but nevertheless I continue insisting that the only possible way of solving the conflict is returning to direct talks. There is no other way.  I agree that stopping of the military conflict is of crucial importance to Armenia. Therefore, the international community should definitely take every action to find compromise and stop the military actions in Nagorno-Karabakh. ”
