A group of young people staged a protest in front of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Berlin in connection with the arrest of activists Bayram Mammadov and Giyas Ibrahimov.

The protestors demanded to set free the activists, who have been arrested on false charges of illegal drug trafficking, meydan.tv reports.

They wore shirts with the photo of Mammadov and Ibrahimov, as well as arrested journalist Khadija Ismayilova.

Azerbaijani dissidents think of staging similar protests also in front of the Azerbaijani embassies in other European countries.

Posters reading “We aren’t slaves, we aren’t drug addicts! We are the youth who you want to destroy!” were pasted up on the entrances to the Azerbaijani embassies in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Turkey.
