On June 1 the Italian police carried an operation to confiscate the property of Ndrangheta mafia. According to ANSA, the police seized 324 million euros.

Police took into custody a number of companies, real estates, cars that have been registered in the names of people that have a connection with the clan. Besides Reggio Calabria, the activities were also held in the central regions of Tuscana and Abruzzo.

Ndrangheta is the largest underground criminal group in Italy engaged in drug trafficking.
