The Pakistani police announced about an arrest of two people suspected of the murder of 19 -year-old school teacher.

The teacher refused to marry the son of the owner of the institution. The law enforcement officers continue to search for other suspects involved in the crime, reports BBC Russian service.

The parents of Maria Bibi say their daughter was attacked, since she had refused to marry the son of 38 -year-old school master. According to the police, five unidentified men entered Maria's house, when her parents were not at home. They beat her, then threw gasoline on her and burned. The women died in a hospital in Islamabad.

Advocates say the attacks on women who refuse to get married in Pakistan take place on regular bases.
