Israeli Ambassador to Russia Zvi Heifetz doubts that the agreement on the establishment of free trade zone between the EAEU member-countries and Israel will be signed by the end of the current year, RIA Novosti reports.

“We are moving forward. I don’t think that we will manage to sign an agreement by the end of the year. Now the issue is to work out of the technical details with all the EAEU member-states. Of course, we are trying to do everything as soon as possible,” the Ambassador said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Earlier, Trade Minister of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Veronika Nikishina stated that in 2017 EAEU may sign a free trade agreement with Israel, which repeatedly expressed its interest in that cooperation.
