Bekir Bozdağ, the Minister of Justice of Turkey, reflected on the Turkish members of the German Bundestag, who voted in favor of the resolution on the recognition of Armenian Genocide, reported Diken news website of Turkey.

Bozdağ said he is astonished at how these Turkish lawmakers had “betrayed” their mothers, fathers, forbears, and nation.

The minister also claimed that these Turkish deputies were fed with “spoiled” breast milk, their blood is “spoiled,” too, and that they cannot represent the Turkish nation.

The Bundestag, the lower house of the German parliament, on Thursday formally recognized the Armenian Genocide, with the aforesaid resolution and with only one vote against and one abstention. The resolution also notes that the Bundestag regrets that the German government at the time did nothing to stop this crime against humanity, and therefore the Bundestag also acknowledges the respective historical accountability of Germany.
