The Russian President Vladimir Putin said that after the Warsaw agreement on gas supply has expired, Gazprom will suggest that amount of fuel to other  buyers .

"Probably Israel could buy and sell the gas to Poland ," said Putin at a joint press conference with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu .

According to TASS, Putin said that it is not essential for Russia which company will buy the Russian gas. Commenting on the Warsaw 's announcement that Poland no longer intends to buy the Russian gas , Putin said that Poland "has not given up anything ," on the corporate level, but Russia " proceeds from the fact that it is possible."

As earlier reported Poland intends to abandon the long-term contract signed with Gazprom, which expires in 2022. According to the acting agreement Russia annually supplies 10.2 billion cubic meters of gas to Poland, on the condition of "take or pay" . By 2012 the average gas price for Poland was about 550 dollars for 1,000 cubic meters of gas. Thereafter, the price dropped by 15 %, but still remains one of the highest rates in Europe.
