The trade turnover between Armenia and the Czech Republic in 2015 amounted to around $ 22 million . That number might grow after the launch of the Armenian-Czech business forum, told Garegin Melkonyan, the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, on June 8 , during a conference with Czech businessmen.

"Today's conference is the third one this year. More than 85 Armenian and 26 Czech companies participate in the conference. It should be noted that the economic dialogue between Armenia and Check Republic is quite active , as both sides are interested in the cooperation . There are many projects that need to be carry out together," said Garegin Melkonyan.

According to him, Czech businessmen are more interested today in Armenia , taken into account the access of our country into the European market and an immediate neighborhood with Iran. "Today there are already more than two dozen Czech companies that operates in Armenia," he metioned.

As mentioned earlier, today Yerevan hosts an Armenian- Czech business forum , during which the sides discuss issues related to cooperation between two countries.
