Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi hospitalized on Tuesday morning because of heart problems, will stay in the Milan hospital San Raffaele at least until Thursday, RIA Novosti reported quoting Corriere della Sera.

The edition wrote that Berlusconi will probably remain in San Raffaele till Thursday, possibly until Friday. His doctor, professor Alberto Dzangrillo ordered not to let anyone enter the room. Berlusconi needs absolute quiet: even after the leader of the party "Forza Italia" is discharged, he must spend the last days of the electoral campaign elections in peace and quiet.

As the local media noted the famous politician was taken to hospital on Tuesday morning a few days after he had an attack provoked by stress.

As the agency Ansa reported earlier, Berlusconi, who will be 80 years old in September, was hospitalized for precaution for carrying out necessary tests and medical examination, no surgical intervention in connection with the incident is planned.
