STEPANAKERT. – A Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) delegation, led by President Bako Sahakyan, on Tuesday arrived in Belgium on a working visit.

Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the President on Wednesday met, in capital city Brussels, with Els Van Hoof, head of the Belgian Federal Parliament friendship group with Armenia, and a group of Belgian lawmakers.

The interlocutors discussed the avenues for the development of ties between the Belgian and Artsakh parliaments.

Sahakyan noted that the NKR is prepared to develop parliamentary relations with Belgium, and that it anticipates respective active assistance from the friends of the Armenian nation.
