YEREVAN. – An event, during which there were presented tools of promoting exports to EU countries took place in Vanadzor on Thursday.

The Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development National Center ( SME ) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the event was attended by the SME that have a potential to internationalize the products, regional NGOs , associations , chambers of commerce, employees of the municipality and other structures.

The coordinator of programs on international cooperation in the SME Development National Center of Armenia Lilit Apujanyan welcomed the participants. Ani Khandamiryan, the chief expert of the Center for International Cooperation presented the possibilities of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). She introduced the services the EEN provides, the examples of international cooperation signed by the EEN, the benefits of using the EEN tools to businessmen and supporting organizations.

Karen Azaryan, the representative of the European Union Delegation in Armenia introduced the tools of export to the EU (Export Help Desk). Inga Markvart, the representative of the Germany’s Economic Unification , spoke about the exports to Germany, practical tools for the exports, obtaining equipment from Germany, participation in fairs, as well as introduced services of German senior experts and the areas of activity.
