The US presidential candidate from the Republicans Donald Trump has a great chance to raise his rating by discussions on the right to own guns, which appeared in the center of public’s attention, after the tragic events in Orlando, reports  the New York Times.

The periodical referes to Trump’s position of defending the right of Americans to own guns . In this issue, Trump’s approach is similar to the one of  less educated immigrants, whose support he pledges for the White House . After the terrorist attacks in Orlando, Trump in his speech emphasized his position one more time and reminded that his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton wants to " wants to take away Americans' guns."

According to the study of Pew Research , about half of the white working class supports the right to own guns . In this issue, he receives larger percentage of support from the Democrat voters than anyone else. The periodical mentions that the issue of owning guns can be a trump in his hand, rather than the migration issues, which he usually addresses to draw people’s attention to him .
