The Kremlin does not consider it reasonable to remove the Russian counter measures against the background of the western accusations of failing to fulfill Minsk agreements, reports TASS.

"There are doubts that against the background of misunderstanding the nature of Minsk agreements by our European and American counterparts, removing the countermeasures, thus making philanthropy, would be unreasonable ," said the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov .

"This wrong perception is reflected in their phrases, which they constantly repeat, like a mantra, that Russia must fulfill Minsk agreements,” he said. “By the way, everyone can check their wrong judgments simply by getting familiarized with the  text of the Minsk agreements. It is not a long document. " At the same time, Peskov did not answer the question about the reaction of the Russian President Vladimir Putin's concerning the statement of the former French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Sarkozy said that it should be Russia first  to remove countermeasures.
