Presidents of Russia and France - Vladimir Putin and François Hollande, as well as  German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed development of the Ukrainian internal crisis, Reuters reported.

According to the agency, during the telephonic conversation they expressed concern over frequent ceasefire violations in the Donbass.

Priority of a problem of prevention of further deterioration of the situation in conflict zone and consecutive implementation of the arrangements on withdrawal of heavy weapons and mutual cultivation of forces from the line of contact was emphasized.

Vladimir Putin paid attention to provocative actions of Ukrainian troops in the southeast, Kremlin said in a statement. In this regard, he urged the interlocutors to influence more actively the Ukrainian side, including during the forthcoming contacts with Petro Poroshenko in Warsaw to provide an accurate implementation of the Minsk agreements.

Leaders emphasized the need of an intensification of negotiations in various formats for full and comprehensive implementation of the Minsk package of measures. Expediency of coordination of the efforts on safety and political settlement was noted.

It was agreed to continue consultations on Ukrainian issues at various levels.
