North Korea launched two ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan, South Korean authorities stated.

According to the South Korean militaries, the launch was made from the western province of Hwanghae province towards east coast. One of the missiles ranges of 1000 kilometers flew to the exclusive economic zones of Japan and fell into the ocean 250 kilometers west of Akita Prefecture, The Telegraph reported.

Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said that this is an outrageous act that cannot be tolerated.

“It's a serious threat against our country's security,” Abe noted.

U.S. State Department condemned the actions of North Korea. According to the U.S. State Department, the missile launch only strengthens the international community's determination to respond to Pyongyang's actions.
