The analysis states that in the third quarter the ruble is under pressure of seasonal factors, but, at the same time , the situation will improve in the fourth quarter.

The researchers of the Bank of America Merrill Lynch also expect that the Bank of Russia will hold a tough monetary policy, which will help to reduce inflation . They think that it will cost $ 52 per barrel of Brent oil later this year . On August 4, by Moscow time at 17: 30, the Moscow stock exchange has sold a dollar approximately for 66.18 rubles (it fell by 9 cents after the closure of the previous session,) , euro for 73.75 rubles ( minus 17 cents ). The Brent oil at London ICE exchange cost $ 42.78 .
