YEREVAN. - Founder of Armenia’s Ardzagank recording studio (Echo International) Yeghishe Petrosyan, who is the member of Anti-crisis Council group supporting the Sasna Tsrer armed group, thinks that he and the other members of the council are politically persecuted.

Petrosyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am that his detention was groundless and he was shortly set free in the absence of corpus delicti.

“They detained me without any grounds and set me free finding no corpus delicti. We are politically persecuted. [Moreover] I think, not only me, but also the other members of the council are politically persecuted,” Yeghishe Petrosyan said.

In his words, the authorities have arrested the Anti-crisis members in order to isolate them. “”They have isolated the guys, doing their best for protests not to be staged.”

As reported earlier, the political persecution against Yeghishe Petrosyan was stopped. The latter had been detained on suspicion of organizing mass disorders in Yerevan.
