YEREVAN. - The attorney of Sasna Tsrer group member Arayik Khandoyan (also known as Lonely Wolf), Arayik Papoyan, visited the freedom fighter in Yerevan’s Nubarashen criminal-executive institution on Saturday.

Papikyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am that Khandoyan is optimistic.

“He was in good mood and optimistic. He is sure that the Armenian people will continue the struggle they have started,” Papikyan said.

The Sasna Tsrer member’s gunshot wound in the leg is gradually recovering. “He is treated in the medical unit of the prison. The wound is already healing.”he added.

The Sasna Tsrer armed group members face charges under Article 235.3 ( Illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive device) and 219.3 (1) (Occupation of buildings, facilities, means of transportation or communication).
