YEREVAN. - The newly appointed Ambassador of Greece to Armenia Nafsika Nancy Eva Vraila extended the copies of her credentials to the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Garen Nazarian on Monday.
Congratulating the Ambassador on her appointment, Nazarian noted that the Armenian-Greek relations, which are based on traditional friendship and common values, create a solid basis for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation, the Armenian MFA press-service reports. The Deputy Foreign Minister wished success to the Ambassador and expressed hope, that with her high professional ability she would give a new impetus to the further expansion of relations between the two countries in bilateral, as well as multilateral formats.
Expressing gratitude for the reception and good wishes, Mrs Vraila assured that she would exert every effort to deepen and strengthen the relations between the two friendly countries and to advance the Armenian-Greek agenda.
During the meeting, the interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the mutual support of two countries within the international organizations and discussed issues related to the Armenian-Greek political, economic and sector cooperation. They also touched on the recent regional developments.
