YEREVAN. - The Special Investigative Service (SIS) of Armenia on Monday permitted Armenian composers Tigran Mansuryan and Robert Amirkhanyan to visit Sasna Tsrer armed group member Ashot Petrosyan. According to the Helsinki Association, they have together headed for the meeting in the Hospital for Inmates.

As reported earlier, Sasna Tsrer group member and artist Ashot Petrosyan had expressed a wish to meet with Tigran Mansuryan and Robert Amirkhanyan.

On August 4, he had gone on hunger strike and refused to receive medical assistance. Ashot Petrosyan is in the Hospital for Inmates. He has a gunshot wound.

Petrosyan faces charges under Article 235.3 ( Illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive device) and 219.3 (1) ( Occupation of buildings, facilities, means of transportation or communication) of the Armenian Criminal Code. He is arrested now.
