YEREVAN. - The rally in support of Sasna Tsrer armed group, which had seized the Erebuni police station for 15 days, ended in Yerevan’s Liberty Square. The protestors didn’t hold a march.
Although at the outset of the rally announcement was made that member of Founding Parliament radical opposition group Alec Yenikomshian, who had been set free from detention on Monday, would be present, it was later informed that the latter didn’t feel well and was thus not able to come.
The rally participants announced about changing the time of the next day rally: It will be held an hour later so that the citizens from Armenia’s regions can also have an opportunity to be present. They also informed that a concert will take place in Liberty Square on Sunday, during which singer Ruben Hakhverdyan will also perform.
Protests are also slated to take place in U.S. and a number of European states on Friday.
