Argentine Ex-President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner was accused of embezzlement of budget funds during construction of the railroad for the tourist train in the city of Rio Turbio, Santa Cruz Province.
Prosecutor Carlos Stronelli also asked the court to investigate the Governor of Santa Cruz Alicia Kirchner and ex-Federal Planning minister Julio De Vido.
As TASS reported, Alicia Kirchner is the sister of the late Argentine President Nestor Kirchner and Cristina Kirchner's sister-in-law.
Stronelli will consider the lawsuit filed by lawyer Santiago Dupuy de Lome who was claiming that the government of the ex-president directed $47.6 million for the train which even does not start working and for ways which are unsuitable for use.
Now Fernandez de Kirchner is charged with several cases of money laundering, illegal enrichment and frauds in the Central Bank of the republic. She considers herself as the victim of political prosecution.
