Pentagon confirmed killing the leader of ISIS branch in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Spokesperson for Pentagon Gordon Trowbridg said Hafiz Sayed Khan was killed as a result of an air strike by American forces on July 26.
Khan was known as a participant of direct attacks on American troops and coalition forces. He was organizing terrorist attacks against the civilians in Afghanistan. His death will impact the efforts of the group on recruiting new personnel and will ruin operations in Afghanistan and throughout the region.
