German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier suggested looking into the possibility of creation of an air bridge to deliver humanitarian aid to the residents of the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo, DW reported.

German Foreign Minister noted that if it is impossible to continue the supply of humanitarian aid to both parts of Aleppo in sufficient quantity they should consider an option of delivery by air, especially medical supplies, Welt am Sonntag reported.

According to Steinmeier, members of the contact group on Syria agreed to consider such a possibility.
