The Ukrainian crisis has been caused by the pressure of the Western countries, said Mevlut Cavusoglu, the Turkish Foreign Minister, in an interview with Sputnik. According to him the West constantly threatened and forced Ukraine to make a choice between the West and Russia.
"They said, you will be either with me , or with Russia. What is happening now in Ukraine is a reflection of " the main problem in the region” , said Cavusoglu . As Lenta reports, the Turkish official said that the West should " change its strategy " to avoid the impasse.
