Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to visit Japan on December 15, NHK reported.
According to this report, the Japanese side hopes that the visit will be paid to Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's home prefecture of Yamaguchi in western Japan. It is also expected that the meeting will take place in the city of Nagato.
Currently Abe is on a visit in Vladivostok, where the East Economic Forum takes place. He had a meeting with the President of the Russian Federation.
