The Turkish government has allowed German MPs access to Incirlik Air Base, where the NATO forces are deployed, including the Bundeswehr soldiers, reports the DPA. The MPs will visit the air base in October 2016 . Ankara previously banned the access of the German legislators to the military base, due to the resolution adopted by the Bundestag on the genocide of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire. The Turkish air base is used by the NATO and the coalition against the terrorist group Islamic state. There are based the German Tornado reconnaissance aircrafts and air tankers, as well as about 250 soldiers of the Bundeswehr .
