YEREVAN. - A rally in support of the Sasna Tsrer armed group has kicked off in Yerevan’s central Liberty Square.

In his address, Heritage Party member Davit Sanasaryan recalled that the court denied the motion to release arrested political analyst Andiras Ghukasyan on bail.

“An anti-human and anti-constitutional practice is in place here, according to which Andrias and the other political prisoners are not allowed to meet with their minors,” he stressed.

For his part, Hayazn Party member Armen Hovhannisyan touched on the changes in the government.  

“We understand that this is the same regime, which is actually aimed against the interests of our citizens and society,” he said.
