Armenian Ambassador to Belgium Tatul Margaryan on Tuesday met with the Director General of the Multilateral Affairs and Globalization at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Arthur Régibeau.

At the meeting, the interlocutors discussed a number of issues related to the expansion of the Armenian-Belgian cooperation.

They also referred to the launch of the Brussels-Yerevan-Brussels direct flights. Jean-Arthur Régibeau handed to Ambassador Margaryan the application of the Belgian Civil Aviation bodies, according to which Brussels Airlines is to ensure the Brussels-Yerevan flight.

The Belgian high-ranking diplomat thanked the Armenian Ambassador for his initiative to launch the flights linking Brussels with Yerevan, as well as the intensive work with different circles of Belgian government and Brussels Airlines.

An agreement was reached to launch the flights during the current year, increasing their frequency starting from next year, if needed.
