It will be a “fatal error” to ignore lessons of the Brexit, said the EU president Donald Tusk in an invitation letter for summit in Bratislava.

As the AFP reports, Tusk stressed that the EU should be “less politically correct” and must secure the Europeans , who are concerned about the threat of terrorism , security, and globalization issues . " It would be a fatal error to assume that the negative result in the UK referendum represents a specifically British issue," wrote Tusk .

He also added that the EU is lingering to reach an agreement on migration crisis issues. "We do not have too much time to spare. Bratislava will have to be a turning point in terms of protecting the Union’s external borders, " said Donald Tusk .
