U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will meet colleagues from Japan and South Korea in New York on September 18, Reuters reported.
The main purpose of the meeting is to discuss responses to North Korea's latest nuclear test.
The three countries are pushing for new tough UN Security Council sanctions on North Korea after the isolated country on Friday conducted its fifth and largest nuclear test.
