It is possible that Russia will legalize footwear labeling in shoe market of the Eurasian Economic Commission, as is the case with fur, reports the TASS. This announcement was made after the session of the working group focused on countering illicit traffic of light industry products. The Russian Industry and Trade Ministry introduced the suggestion of footwear labeling at one of the previous sessions of the working group .

In spring the project of fur electronic labeling will launch in Russia, and since August 12 it will be mandatory in the EEC area . However , Deputy to Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov instructed federal services to develop a possible labeling for other products , such as medicine, food, and light industry products. However, it is not clear yet which specific product will be included in the labeling policy next .
