YEREVAN. - Armenian citizens will be able to visit the Macao (Àomén) Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China without a visa.

Armenian Deputy FM Shavarsh Kocharyan introduced the draft international agreement in the parliament on Thursday.

Chinese citizens wishing to visit Armenia will also get an analogous freedom.

The agreement has been concluded on standard conditions: the visa free regime is in effect for residence for up to 90 days within 365 day period.

“Now it is possible to visit Macau without a visa. Good news for all of us,” said MP Alexander Arzumanyan, who introduced the document as a co-rapporteur.
