Diane James has been elected as the new leader of UK Independence Party. She was ahead of her four contestants in the elections. Earlier, 56 -year-old Diane James served as deputy chairman of the party, reports the BBC. The previous head of the party Nigel Farage left his post in July 2016, after the British people had voted for the Brexit on June 23.
